Get Growing at The Electric Picnic

This years Electric Picnic will have a more environmental focus with the overall message being Climate‘s Changing...Will You? Sustain have been asked to get involved in a number of ways.

We are creating an information point / exhibit entitled Get Growing for the Body & Soul areas Green Room the info point will display information, images & contact details from the many Community Garden & Allotments and associated projects from around the country. This will enable visitors to see what is going on in their area and get involved at a local level.

We will also be doing 2 talks in the Green Room one at 12pm on Saturday on Saving Energy & Money in the home and basic Energy Efficient building. The second at 4pm on Sunday on Community Gardens & Allotments will be opened by The Minister For Food & Horticulture Trevor Sergant.  Sustain have also been asked by Cultivate to host a brief Get Growing talk in the Global Green Area in the main arena at 12.30pm on Sunday.

We are also producing a series of banners for the festival promoters POD & our coaliton partners Stop Climate Chaos, Mark Edwards of The Hard Rain Project has kindly donated some images for these.
