Sailfish Project Public Meeting

There will be a public meeting at Casey's Hotel, Baltimore, on Monday 2nd March at 7.30pm about the Sailfish Project.

Sustain West Cork are supporting the proposed formation of a cooperative perhaps entitled The Sustainable Fisheries Foundation that will develop a sail and hydrogen powered fishing boat and generally seek to promote sustainable fisheries.

We feel it to be a very valuable project with the white fish population close to collapse and the huge amount of diesel consumed and indeed dumped in the sea with current fishing methods.
